College interns play a crucial role in the program co-leading community-focused projects while teaching critical life-skills and helping students determine next steps to achieve their post-high school goals. College interns are exposed to different career paths in GM through workshops and trainings, mentorship with a GM employee in their field of study as well as participation in a group project tackling real-world business problems.
Each GM Student Corps team has two GM retirees helping to mentor and co-lead the team. GM retirees bring their many years of experience and leadership to support the program. Our unique structure brings retirees back to GM to support the next generation of leaders.
