Read the 2021 Ashoka Climate Changemakers Report
Young people are at the forefront of the climate movement, calling for change and coming up with innovative solutions to environmental challenges. General Motors has teamed up with Ashoka to empower young changemakers to leverage STEM skills to develop innovative solutions that help address climate change with the Our Planet, Our Purpose: STEM for Changemaking Challenge.
Ashoka also released their 2021 Climate Changemakers report.
Through this report, Ashoka set out to uncover which issues and fields climate changemakers are centering, what successful climate solutions from social entrepreneurs have in common, and what is missing in the movement.
They linked social entrepreneurs’ work to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Conference of Parties (COP) priorities—key metrics—to show how these insights can contribute to addressing social and environmental challenges.
