What We Do

We are the first GM U.S. propulsion manufacturing facility to be transformed for EV related production. We will build drive units that will be used in future GM Ultium-based battery electric trucks, including:

The Toledo Propulsion team also builds world-class transmission products for a wide variety of GM vehicles, including RWD 8-speed for cars, full-size trucks and mid-size trucks, RWD 10-speed for HD trucks and FWD 8-speed for SUVs.

Throughout World War II, GM Toledo produced truck transfer cases and transmissions for four- and six-wheel-drive military trucks.
