DMAX Ltd. (Moraine)

DMAX provides diesel engines for heavy-duty Chevrolet Silverado and heavy-duty GMC Sierra pickup trucks. Founded in 1999 as a joint venture with Isuzu Diesel Services of America, Inc., DMAX became a wholly owned subsidiary of GM in May 2022.

What We Do

DMAX Ltd. produces Duramax diesel engines for the following heavy-duty trucks:

  • Chevrolet Silverado HD
  • GMC Sierra HD

The plant also supports military, marine, and medium-duty work truck applications.

Over 3.1 million Duramax diesel engines produced since its launch in 2000, meeting the demands of the heavy-duty truck customer.
